- Must be able to stand "on your feet" and walk the entire shift except for designated break times.
- Must be able to kneel down and pick up trash, etc. off the floor without risk of back injury.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds of trash out of trash receptacles in to the large tub and then out of the large tub into an outdoor waste bin. You must get help for heavier trash in order to prevent injury.
- Must be able to carry, push, or pull equipment including vacuums, trash tubs, buckets, presses, and mops. NOTE: Employees are NOT to lift heavier items such as barrels of chemicals, scrubbers, buffers, etc. without appropriate assistance. Failure to follow this rule can result in a reprimand.
- Must be able to climb stairs as is needed in their particular building.
- Must be able to dust the tops of file cabinets, partitions, door frames, etc.
- Must be able to perform sweeping, mopping, stripping, and waxing of floor using brooms, dust mops, and damp mops as trained.
- In certain accounts, must be able to vacuum using an upright vacuum and a back pack vacuum for the period of time set for their particular building.
- In certain accounts, must be able to operate floor equipment including scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, shampooers, extractors, etc. in the manner trained to do so.
- Must use chemicals and supplies EXACTLY as per training, using appropriate precautions to avoid waste, injury, and damage.
- Must report any problems that occur to supervisor.
- Must perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisor within the designated time frame.
